Runaway Heiress clung to my mother's arm in the marketplace, claiming to be her daughter to evade pursuit.
But my parents died because of this.
Uncle and Aunt took a hundred silver pieces from her, making me impersonate her to draw away the Assassin, saying:
'You're just a country girl. It's your blessing to die for the Runaway Heiress.'
But they never imagined I wouldn't die, and instead would be welcomed back to the palace with great fanfare.
